Hedged-position boundary
Fully matched opposite orders on the same instrument currently have 0% hedged margin; unmatched portion of a partial hedge requires margin. Closing one side unhedges the other and can suddenly require full margin—especially during HMR. A “hedge” is not free exit protection.
Low-connectivity control
- Leave a free-margin buffer; do not trade to the platform’s maximum.
- Set server-side SL/TP and verify them in open-order details.
- Record account/server and ticket before leaving the screen.
- After reconnect, reconcile positions before any new order.
- Do not rely on a local trailing stop when terminal may disconnect.

Yes. Removing funds reduces equity/free margin while positions remain.
